About our doctor
Commitment, Compassion, Consideration:
Born into the American Dream
“My parents immigrated to the United States believing in the American dream. They came over with little more than hope, optimism and determination. Once they settled into the Atlanta area, they spent their money wisely, worked inordinate hours and taught all four sons to give their best in every effort”, Dr. John shares. “Their guidance certainly influences how I treat my patients. It's important to know my patients and their satisfaction is what matters. In fact, my team and I strive to do more than please our patients. We want to go beyond their expectations and earn their trust and friendship. Consideration is of high value in my family. Consideration begins with respecting a patient's concerns and desires and making sure that the dental care we provide is the best available to them. That's what drives us.”

Your consultation
On your first dental visit, you will be with Dr. John for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the complexity of your case. During this time, he will explain the exam process and provide an extra-oral and intra-oral examination, which includes an evaluation of the thyroid, lymphatic system in the head and neck region, muscles of mastication, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), cancer examination by evaluating the tongue, cheeks, floor of the mouth and back of the throat, as well as salivary glands. He will then evaluate your occlusion and function, as well as molar classifications. He will look at the movement and guidance of the TMJ. Dr. John will map your existing dental condition, periodontal charting, and pathology, followed by a tour of your mouth with an intra-oral video camera. He will go over the necessary digital radiographs, usually four bitewings, two periapicals and a panoramic film. Finally, Dr. John will finish the experience with continuing treatment recommendations.
Did you know?
Most dentists do not have post-doctoral training. General dentists finish their dental education after four years of dental school. As people say, “experience is everything.” Dr. John has been in dentistry over 11 years. He has had an extra three years of postdoctoral training and goes above and beyond the Georgia Board's minimum continuing education requirements.
